“You owe me so much ramen for this.” Uzuki scowled as she pressed Kariya down. He smirked back, smug and amused, and shifted slightly against the cold marble of the Composer’s throne.
“One bowl. Take it or leave it. You know you can’t turn down a dare, Uzuki.”
“Oh, shut up.” She kissed him roughly, clawed hands shoving his shoulders against the back of the stone chair, knees around his hips and straddling him. Kariya chuckled softly into her mouth as the footsteps sounding from the Rubicon grew closer.
The footsteps froze abruptly, and Kariya caught a glimpse over his GM’s shoulder. Kayo was stock-still in the doorway, eyes wide and mouth open.
“Ohmygod,” the girl whimpered. “Mom and dad. Making out. On each other. Oh my god.”
Uzuki broke the kiss and turned to look over her shoulder, smirking viciously. “Hello,” she chirped, much too sweet, and turned back to Kariya. She licked at his neck while she unzipped his hoodie, purring, and the Composer shuddered.
“Jay was right!” Kayo wailed, and bolted.
“Hmph.” Uzuki sat up sharply, dusting her hands off on her sleeves as though she’d gotten something disgusting on them. The girl shot Kariya a disdainful look and wiped her mouth with the black of her hand. “Ugh. You’re a real jerk, Kariya.”
“Hey, it worked, didn’t it?” He grinned at her and adjusted his glasses absently. The man stuck the lollipop that was between his fingers back in his mouth, amused and thoughtful. “Our not-daughter is scarred for life.”
“Ugh. Don’t call her that.” Uzuki wrinkled her nose at him and folded her arms over her chest, still on Kariya’s lap. “Just because you screwed up again…”
“Hey, she’s half my Soul and half yours, that’s close enough.” He shrugged, closing his eyes. When he opened them again Uzuki was very close to his face, smirking too-sweetly. “Uhm,” Kariya said, blankly. “Uzuki?”
“You owe me so much ramen for this,” Uzuki echoed, and Kariya’s shoulders hit the back of the throne again.
