I- This is a literate site. We expect all of you to use spell check, use correct grammar, and type in full sentences. We do not want to see chatspeak inside of roleplay, unless it is a special situation, such as a chat client being used. Please type out your words and use them.
II- Everyone on this forum is a human being, except for the occasional bot in the c-box, so please refrain from flaming. If you have a problem with someone else on the site, please bring it up to Quill or I, and don't go behind people's backs to another member. We all make mistakes, so please keep that in mind.
III- No godmoding or powerplaying. Therefore you cannot have almighty characters or 'perfect' characters in anyway. Nobody is perfect, everybody has flaws.
IV- Be as active as you can. If you're going to be gone for a long period of time, let someone know! If your power goes out, or your internet is gone, that's a whole different story, but please try to keep in touch.
V- Please post your characters on your own little thread so we can keep track of them, and update regularly, or at least yearly. Considering this site has been up for a while, I can guarantee EVERYONE needs to do this, even me. Who knows, your character might have changed a lot.
VI- We do allow non-original characters on this forum as well. Before taking one, please look over all active profiles and see if they are taken. Your next step of action is to let everyone know to get the okay. This should only be a problem in a few universes, such as .Hack, The World Ends With You, and some of the Tales Of series.
VII- If you do take a non-original character, please do your best to keep them in their original personality. Of course, we all understand how fun it is to deviate from them a little, but please keep them as in character as possible. We don't want to see a cheery Neku, or a break-dancing Vexen around here.
VIII- If the character you want is taken, don't throw a fit! First, make sure with the 'owner' that they're still using the character. Who knows, you just might find out that you can take them over!
IX- Follow the current plot, if we have one going. The rules of Homestuck apply to Homestuck, even if we're doing an AU. But before you try to bring in an Exile, make sure with the other players that it's an element. Not everything may apply to the current universe.
X- Respect and love your admins! We work hard to keep this site running, and we'd love you to appreciate it! Bring up any issues with us, and we'll gladly try our best to solve them. Also, feel free to make suggestions! The phrase you need to post here is 'this is incredibly silly'.
XI- Please please please keep within the rules of the ToS and Community Guidelines of Proboards! This has been an issue in the past, so please reread them. There is a link at the bottom of every page, so you have no excuse not to follow them.
XII- Adult Content, including mature roleplay, is not allowed ANYWHERE on the site. Please refrain from excessive cursing, posting adult images, and anything else so we can keep RN going for a long time!
IF YOU HAVE READ THESE RULES, THE PROBOARDS TOS AND COMMUNITY GUIDELINES, PLEASE POST HERE WITH THE FORE-MENTIONED PHRASE.
