Your name is Abliss Inoras and you've fallen asleep again.
You fall asleep at pretty weird times. Someone told you that you have a disorder, it started with an 'n' and was pretty hard to pronounce. So you just say you fall asleep a lot. Like in the middle of sparring practice. Or on the stairs. Or when you're out for a walk.
You're pretty sure you were out for a walk this time, since you're not in your hive when you come to. You hear a growling from somewhere above you, and take your sweet time in looking up.
Your name is Abliss Inoras, and you are about to be eaten by a very angry mama cholerbear. You're not okay with this.
You realize you left your chainwhip back in your respiteblock, because you're a dumbass, and you have no way to defend yourself. You feel the cholerbear's hot breath on your face, as it prepares to close its jaws around your throat. Seeing as you're kind of a coward when it comes to dying brutal deaths at the paws of an angry mama cholerbear, you shut your eyes.
You hear the cholerbear let out a pained roar, and its weight suddenly vanishes from above you. You dare to crack open one eye, and see a girl with hair that framed her heart-shaped face with curls riding the cholerbear like a mechanical hoofbeast, whooping and laughing and jabbing it with a harpoon that you're almost positive does not belong to her from the way she's holding it. You stare like a slack-jawed moron as she chases the cholerbear off for good, wiping its blood from the harpoon's tip.
You get to your feet, wobbly from fear and tiredness, and grin widely at your savior. You start to introduce yourself to her, but your name has just barely left your mouth before you've fallen asleep again. The last thing you see as your eyes close in her smiling patiently at you, hefting you into her arms and preparing to carry you back to your hive.
