Name: Uzuki Yashiro Age: Deceased Race: Reaper Side: Depends on her mood Appearance: History: She was Kariya's girlfriend two years ago. Kariya startled her cat, and she chased it into the streeth, where she was hit by a car. She died two weeks later in the hospital. Personality: Yashiro was completely obsessed with her work. She was a perfectionist in every aspect when it came to her occupation, and it would drive her crazy when she was restricted from working hard. She had a close bond with Kariya, who was always trying to calm her down. After she discovered Kariya's true power, and that he turned down a well-paying job so that he could enjoy the city, she lightened up considerably. She would flirt with Kariya often, with little success.

Name: Gainda Age: ? (In cell time, it's the equivilent of being in his early twenties) Race: Rhinovirus Side: Dark Appearance: Microscopic- unable to be seen by the human eye. He's a huge, hulking cell with a thick, pale gray membrane, though he has a few black spikes of hair and red eyes. He has two spiky bumps where his nose would be. He wears a shirt with the sleeves torn off and ragged jeans. History: He's the common cold. Nuff said. Personality: He's a thug in every way, though maybe a little more intelligent. He doesn't follow anyone unless he thinks it'll get him what he wants. He's also ridiculously strong and can rampage if he's ticked off enough- he is a "rhino" after all.
Trivia: Gainda is a Hindo term for the Indian Rhino. Yay subtle language jokes.

Name: Iggy Age: 14 Race: Human-Avian Hybrid Side: Good Appearance: Very tall for his age, almost six feet, and very pale. He has ice-blue eyes and blond hair, spiked with black tips. He also has a pair of white wings that span almost ten feet emerging from his shoulderblades, which he can fold into hollows in his back. He's slim, but he's well-muscled, a few pale scars here and there. (Below is a fan's image of him. It may or may not be correct, but I thought it looked good.) History: Iggy was experimented on at birth, making him 98 percent human, and 2 percent bird, kept locked up in a horrible lab called the School. The scientists performed surgery on him to improve his night vision, which went horrible wrong and rendered him blind forever. He and five other kids escaped with the help of a scientist named Jeb Batchelder. The six lived on their own until they were found by Erasers, human-wolf hybrids made as security for the School. The flock, led by Max Ride, fled to New York, and later D.C., being chased by Ari and the other Erasers. As the flock began settling down in Virginia with Anne, a wormhole opened, dragging poor Iggy into a battle between Kel and Paz. Personality: Despite being blind, Iggy is very competant, able to detect what's around him by sensing echos and vibrations. He cooks for the flock and cracks jokes, and has a pyro streak in him, only increased by hanging out with his partner in crime, Gazzy. This cheerful, sarcastic teenager exterior hides a darker side to Iggy, the scared boy who is upset with the world- upset that he is blind, upset that the flock has no home, upset that he doesn't know his parents. He never shows this side to anyone, but it can escape. Trivia: Iggy has a remarkable ability to hide very powerful explosives on her person. He can make them out of pretty much anything. Don't make him mad. Notes about the flock: All of the flock are very powerful. Their heart and lungs are large and work harder, their bones are thin like birds', and their blood cells have nuclei. They have much more strength and stamina than humans and have incredible regerative abilities, but they need to eat much more as well. They all have a fear of enclosed spaces, and anything lab- or hospital-like, because they bring back bad memories of the School.

Name: Ari Batchelder Age: 7 (Appears to be in his twenties or so) Race: Eraser (human-wolf hybrid) Side: Depends on who you ask. Basically dark. Appearance: Most Erasers appear to look like male models in their early twenties, Ari is not so attractive. His entire apperance is awkward and werewolf-like: his skin is rough, his teeth sharp, with odd patches of coarse fur here and there. He describes his face as seeming "off", because his seven-year old features were awkwardly stretched to a man's face. He had large wings painfully grafted to his shoulders so he could fly like the flock. He can "morph" into a man-wolf at will, with ragged claws, long muzzle, fur, fangs, the whole deal. History: Ari has had a tragic life. When he was six years old, he was taken by the scientists and the School and used as an experiment to see if Erasers could live longer if they were created later in life. The experiment was a success and a failure. Ari is much more powerful than a normal Eraser, but at a price. His transformations can be painful, and his appearance is shaggy, because the lupine DNA is not seamlessly grafted into his own. He relentlessly hunts the flock, particularly Max, out of rage and jealousy, because his father Jeb seems to love them far more than he loves Ari. After the flock left New York, Ari was fitted with wings so he could fight with the flock in the air, but this only made him worse, both physically and psychologically. When he found the flock in D.C., he stumbled across a portal. Thinking the flock might have escaped through it, he went through without a second thought. Personality: Ari's mind is in deep turmoil. He is filled with rage and jealously against the flock for stealing his father's affection, but some deep part of him loves Maximum very much. This sort of psychological trouble is only to be expected- he was a little boy turned into a monster made only to kill his own family.

Name: Nevermore Age: ? Race: Nobody knows. Sometimes he says demon, and other times he says angel. Side: Neutral, leaning towards the side that flatters/bribes him more Appearance: Nobody really sees much of Nevermore's face, as it is always hidden by the hood of his ragged cloak. The only features that are obvious are pale skin, glittering, inhuman black eyes, and long, ebony hair that often hangs in his eyes. The cloak is much too large for him, but he seems to have a lithe, athletic figure, his muscles finely toned. His most obvious feature are the large, sleek raven's wings that sprout from his shoulderblades. History: No one knows Nevermore's past. He is a world jumper, never staying in one place for long. Some say he feeds of the darkness and misery of humans, seeming to attach himself to dark and confused humans, fueling their self-torture. Nevermore himself has implied that he is the raven from the famous poem. Personality: Nevermore is incredibly mysterious. He has called himself a prophet, and often provides answers to questions people don't want to hear. He rarely speaks, and when he does, he is usually reciting Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven.

Name: Mel (You don't want to know her full name, trust me) Age: ? (Cell equvilent of being around 22) Race: Rhinovirus Side: Dark. So, so dark. Appearance: Basically a female Gainda. She has the same pale gray membrane, red eyes, and horns where her nose would be. She has black spiky hair, though hers isn't quite as spiky as Gainda's, and it flows to her shoulders. She wears a shirt that is ripped off just above the elbows and around the edges to reveal her middle and faded jeans ripped at the knees. She's well-muscled, but not as bulky as Gainda, and her muscles are finely toned. She wears a chocker around her neck that looks suspiciously like Thrax's chain, though its beads look different than the hypothalamus beads Thrax carries. History: Mel is a very agressive strain of the common cold. Though rare, there are fatalities from the common cold, and Mel is responsible for the most of them. She and Gainda met about a year ago, and formed a rivalry, which eventually evolved into a bipolar love-hate relationship. The two fight frequently, but the violence can and does dissolved rapidly into makeout sessions at a moment's notice. It's bizarre and unsettling to watch. Personality: While Gainda prefers to fight his problems out, Mel is much slicker. She is a smooth talker, and uses every dirty trick in the book to get what she wants- emphasis on dirty.

Name: Dalibor Age: Unknown (cell equivilent of early thirties) Race: Naegleria fowleriSide: Evil. Deadly virus. Appearance: Miscroscopic. A tall, slim virus with a pale, almost colorless membrane, and the faint shadow of his dark nucleus is visible. His features are soft and almost friendly, though his teeth are razor sharp, and his piercing green eyes are cat-like. He has a few dreadlock-like platinum blond tentacles, slicked back to his neck, much like Thrax's. He only has three fingers on each hand, but they are long and slender, with powerful claws that can easily grip nerve fibers, and he has a long, slender tail about a third of his height. He dresses in a sort of sharp casual with a sleeveless white shirt under a black vest, a small badge pinned to his lapel, dark-colored pants tucked into black boots. He has never explained what the small badge is for. History: Dalibor never talks about his history, but it's no secret that he caused the outbreak in the US between 1995 and 2004, claiming 23 lives. His grandfather and father worked together to cause the 1962-65 outbreak in the Czech Republic before travelling to the United States. Personality: In public, Dalibor is friendly, polite, almost gentlemanly, though he rarely speaks about himself. This facade hides Dalibor's malicious intentions and quite...Lex Luthor-esque nature. He is never in a hurry to kill a body, but he prefers to stay within a two-week deadline. There are rumors that he is actually an assassin hired by weaker viruses due to his somewhat low fatality rate and fast, professional kill time. Dalibor himself has never confirmed nor denied the rumors.

Name: Cheshire Cat (Answers to Cheshire) Age: ? Race: ...Cat...demon...thing? Side: You expect me to know?! Appearance: A tall, slim young man who appears to be in his early late teens at the most. He wears a purple and pink striped shirt (like the Disney colors) with too-long sleeves, tight black pants and sneakers. He has bright yellow cat-like eyes and pointed ears, and a permanent manic grin. He has a long tabby cat tail that seems to move on its own. On top of all this, Cheshire loves jewelry. At any one time he'll have at least two studs and two hoops in each pointed ear, and four or five rings on each hand, along with bangles hidden by his sleeves, a few anklets and a golden ring with amethyst studs coilded around his tail. History: Nevermore's almost-faithful companion, Cheshire's past is even more mysterious than the Raven's. He claims to come from a place called Wonderland (which you can find "beyond the looking glass", to quote the cat himself), though his description of the place and his role there changes in every telling. Personality: The quickest way to sum up Cheshire would be "unhinged". He loves giving lost travellers poor directions, though he never lies, he is only vague and may...leave out important bits during explanations. He also has a habit of vanishing in mid-conversation, his grin fading last. While Nevermore has a habit of repeating The Raven, Cheshire prefers to recite The Jabberwocky, often to a bouncy humming tune.

Name: Mihael Keehl (answers to Mello) Age: permanently 20 Race: Human Side: Uh...uhm...Good question... Appearance: Always seen in tight black leather, always has a rosary, and is almost always eating a bar of chocolate. History: Born and raised in Wammy's House, an orphanage for extremely gifted children in England, Near and Mello were raised to be L's successors. Upon news of L's death, and the idea of having to work with Near, Mello left Wammy's to live his own life. He joined the Mafia at the age of fifteen, and took a startling rise to the head of the organization. From his position of power, he used questionable methods to obtain the Death Note, including kidnapping the daughter of the chief of the task force. In an attempt to retrieve the Death Note, his hideout was stormed, and all his men killed. In a desperate escape attempt, Mello set off explosives in the hideout, leaving him with a scar across the left side of his body. With all of his men dead, Mello teamed up with Matt, another boy from Wammy's and Mello's close friend, and travelled to Japan. Unfortunately, a botched kidnapping left Matt shot down by Kira supporters, and Mello dead by the Death Note itself. Or so everyone thought... Mello and Matt, thrown from their own universe, search the worlds (mostly Tokyo) for the being who saved their lives. Personality: Mello is Near's exact opposite. Where Near is quiet, subtle, and shy, Mello is loud, rude, and emotional. He's got a bit of an itchy trigger finger and a huge inferiority complex, and his sense of justice is somewhat skewed, but all of his decisions are from the desire to capture Kira (and surpass Near). The only person who has seen Mello's softer side is Matt.

Name: Mail Jeevas (answers to Matt) Age: permanently 19 Race: Human Side: Mello's Appearance: A young man with bright red hair and jade green eyes usually hidden behind orange-tinted goggles. He wears a black and white striped shirt under a tan vest with stripes of white fluff, black gloves, dark jeans, and brown boots. He is always seen with a cigarette in his mouth, and almost never without a handheld gaming device of some kind. History: Matt grew up in Wammy's alongside Mello and Near, and was the third in line to succeed L. He left not long after Mello did, agreeing to help him catch Kira. After Mello lost all of his men in the raid, Matt took a more hands-on approach, travelling with him to Japan. A botched kidnapping led to Matt's death, guned down by Kira supporters. Or so everyone thought... Mello and Matt, thrown from their own universe, search the worlds (mostly Tokyo) for the being who saved their lives. Personality: Matt was the third most intelligent child at Wammy's after Near and Mello, presumably due to his lack of motivation. He enjoys videogames, but dislikes going out. He is a good foil for Mello, often calming to emotional blond down before someone gets shot.

Name: Katsuo Matsumoto Age: 19 Race: Human Side: Good Appearance: Your typical Shibuyan, with light tan skin and black hair. It sticks up in the front, and the tips are dyed dark purple. He wears a black shirt spattered with a blood red pattern, and loose black cargo pants hooked up with several chains and belts. He's often seen with one or two yo-yos. History: Katsuo is your typical Shibuya native. He died of multiple gunshot wounds after being caught in a gang fight. He wasn't involved, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He and Hibiki ended up partnering up in the Game. [No history after this point. ] Personality: Katsuo is your typical teenager. He's energetic and a bit of a rebel, and has...interesting tastes in music. He's very loyal to his friends, and when he makes up his mind, no one can stop him. Name: Hibiki Tsukade Age: 17 Race: Human Side: Good Appearance: A well-muscled young man with short dark blue hair (dyed, of course), and green cats-eye contacts. He wears a black t-shirt with the spore logo on it, tight, faded jeans and black leather boots. History: Hibiki led a fairly unremarkable life, a Shibuya native born and raised. However, on his 17th birthday, he was killed when he ended up in a head-on collision on his way to meet his older sister and brother at 104. He and Katsuo paired up to play the Game. [No history after this point. ] Personality: While Katsuo is loud, impulsive, and outgoing, Hibiki is very quiet and thoughtful, and doesn't have very many friends. On the days his siblings couldn't drag him out shopping, he would sit and home and read. He has a taste for obscure manga and American literature.
